MADE TO ORDER BODIES are bodies that are not made yet.  When you purchase, the body is being made for you.  These are NOT bodies that when purchased, it just needs to be packaged and shipped.

MADE TO ORDER BODIES all have different factors involved for timeline of being finished.  Depending on the body, print times can be different.  Some bodies have more parts than others.

We work Monday - Friday 7am-7pm.  I also work another job Monday's & Wednesdays (On these days, if I have orders to print,  I will load printers to print while I am working.  When I get home from work, I work late doing body work or painting or designing, whichever I have to do at the moment.)  If you order a MADE TO ORDER BODY on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, chances are it won't get to a printer until Monday.  FEDERAL HOLIDAY'S that the USPS offices are CLOSED, we are CLOSED.

MADE TO ORDER BODIES are not the body to order if you are in a rush!  
2 WEEK LEAD TIME NOT INCLUDING SHIPPING TIME.

-Change design to fit chassis (if needed)
-Change wheel well width in design (if needed)
-Print the body
-Remove supports and clean up body.
Sand/fill body to prep for primer.
Resin print all resin printed parts.
Double check and make sure all parts fit.
Primer body and parts.
Give time for primer to cure.

This is the process we do, NOT JUST PRINT A BODY AND SHIP IT.

Our machines require maintenance after so many hours.  We have MANY printers, this is usually a days worth of work.  SOMETIMES, a printer acts up out of the blue and needs to be worked on.  SOMETIMES a print fails halfway through, these are all factors we try to avoid, but do happen and adds time and backs things up.

If you order a MADE TO ORDER BODY and want something different on it, that is more time it takes to make it how you want it.  It's added time.

We document each body we make.  We take pictures of every step.
Once printed - A picture is taken
After bodywork - A picture is taken
After primer - A picture is taken
Resin parts are printed - A picture is taken
We then make a file for the order with all pictures.

We are working on making a SCHEDULE PAGE for everyone to see what we are working on everyday to see how busy we are.  We are just trying to find the EASIEST way to do this with the least amount of time taken up.

We do our best to manage all messages but sometimes it gets overwhelming.  It is just not productive to message everyone with pictures of every step, it's time taken away from finishing it.  This has been the biggest problem with MADE TO ORDER BODIES.  2 days after the order placed, the messages start, "How's the body coming?"  "Any pics?"  "Is it done yet?"  "Is it too late to change this?"  From the experiences for the last few years, we will be ignoring these type of questions until the body is done.  We have to in order to be productive.  We understand people are excited, we get it, but it just makes the process longer.

There are no RETURNS/REFUNDS on MADE TO ORDER BODIES before it ships.  This page is to be as transparent and up front on the process and timing.  RETURNS/REFUNDS are considered once item is delivered.

So after all that, WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF MADE TO ORDER BODIES?

We can offer more options this way.  More variety, different bed options, Window options, bumper options, accessory options, just overall more options, different choices rather than what we decide to make.

We have over 400 different designs done that would take a few years to make with all the different options.  So it allows us to show more now, rather than waiting until we can print it.  Or printing options that people don't want.  It allows us to spend time working on what our customers want rather than guessing.
